You can't delete a thread, because a thread is a discussion. Deleting a discussion would also delete other people's posts. You can delete your post for a certain period of time, as long as it's not the op (opening post).

That would be 48 hours.

Your time has passed to delete it.

As Fritz has said time and again...

Don't ever post or say anything on the Web that you don't want your stalker, friend, fiancé, teacher, classmate, band member, employer, employee, church, deacon, pastor, spouse, parent, grandparent, sibling, significant other, child, roommate, teammate, coach, counselor, lawyer, judge, Police, CIA, FBI, Department of Homeland Security, or a carpenter born in a stable to see.

Love4theLord,

For future reference . . . to delete one of your posts (that have been made within the previous 48 hours), click on the "delete" button located in the upper right corner of that specific post. It is the icon that has the word "delete" and also a red X in it.

If you don't see this specific icon in the upper right corner of one of your posts that you want to delete, it means that the allowable timeframe to delete that specific post (48 hours) has expired and the post cannot be deleted.

And remember, as has been pointed out already, you cannot delete threads nor other people's posts. Additionally if you start a thread, you cannot delete the OP. You can modify it (within 48 hours), but you cannot delete.

Which reminds me to tell you that if you want to modify (edit) any of your posts, that also must be done within 48 hours of the original posting of such post. To edit a post, click on the "edit" button, also located in the upper right corner of any of your posts.

You will not see "delete" nor "edit" buttons on other peoples' posts; only yours (and only those that have been made within the previous 48 hours).

Anything you want to do to one of your posts . . . the buttons for such task can be found in the upper right corner of that specific post. Additionally, if you want to quote another person's post, you'll find the "quote" button in the upper right corner of that specific post.

This concludes the first session of Posting 101
Thank you for your attendance.
