Is it a sin to buy groceries?

What if you are wearing a blue shirt while you do it?

What if you have to drive past a gas station to get to the grocery store?

P.S. Please use Scripture to support your response.

Do you get a Planned Parenthood buy-one-get-one-free-in-nine-months discount on your receipt?

It depends, of course, on what kind of groceries you buy. If it's junk food, it's definitely a sin. (Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, dontcha know.)

As for the blue shirt, do you think you look good in it? Then it's vanity. Did it cost a lot? Then you're wasting money that should've been given to the poor.

Driving past a gas station is morally neutral, unless you're driving a gas-guzzling SUV. We're to be stewards of the planet, after all.

How'd I do?

Sorry, I was too stunned by the sheer sinful nature of that question that I plum forgot about the scripture for it!

No- because 'groceries' means 'Cheetos' in the original Greek.

Is it a blue jean shirt, or just a blue shirt? Cause you know what it means to wear jeans.

Its only a sin if you're driving a Pinto.

No, but I do get free lottery tickets, and a tattoo.

I think you are the winner!

But driving past it means you're not going in. It seems like it would be more of a sin to stop, especially if you buy a Powerball ticket while you're there.

Maybe we have two winners!

Nuh uh! Can't! That's unfair - and God is a God of justice.

You said I was the winner first!

Of course it is a sin. I cannot believe you even had to ask. And the blue shirt? I hope you come to your senses soon.

The driving past a gas station has stunned me so badly I am unable to respond. I can only shake my head in wonder and shock.

What is this world coming to?

That's true. I've heard stores like that actually have... have bottled water in there!

Yeah, but your Scripture was only relevant to peanut butter and Q-Tips.

Still, you can be #1 and Sunnymom can be #2, since she didn't use Scripture. It is a sin to make a post without using Scripture.

Around here you would be lucky to buy any pork products because cashiers of a certain faith refuse to even scan the merchandise.

So for some it's a grievous sin.

Even pork rinds? Wow!

(Ok, so I actually have no idea what pork rinds are, but I assume they are pork products.)
