Daylight Savings hasn't started in WA yet so there's a 2 1/3 hour time difference between our 2 offices. until the 26th Oct Annoying!!

2 1/3 hours? How does that work? You have time zones in 20 minute increments?
And I thought Nova Scotia was strange for having a half hour incremental time zone?

LOL whoops. I need to check my post before posting it!! 2 1/2 hours.
And we have 1/2 hour inrecmental time zones across our country too. Eastern state (NSW, Vic, QLD) are 1/2 hour ahead of SA & NT and then there's 1 1/2 hours to Western Aust. It's a huge country...and then to make things even more confusing is that QLD doesn't have daylight savings at all.

Half hour at least makes some kind of sense. Third hour makes no sense to me at all. We have only full hour here, but where the line snakes can be confusing; and for decades a couple of states did not to on DST. (Indiana and Arizona) The Upper Peninsula of Michigan used to go county by county whether they were in the Eastern or Central time zones and whether they observed DST.

This will be my second time. And I'll most likely be the only girl again. Hopefully I don't get singled out and have to wear the high vis vest like last time. (Both team captains had to wear them - me and the guy who organised it)

That is the final wrap-up of the High Holy Day season which started this year on Sept 30.
As a Messianic we observe the biblical feasts of Leviticus 23, and some others, that are considered by the church world as Jewish.

Probably be doing something similar to what I do now, only directly for the US Dept of Commerce/NOAA instead of as a contractor. I have been a contract cartographer in the Marine Chart Division of NOAA for just over 10 years.
I do know the ENC group where I have been for the last 6 years is WAAAAAYYYYYY behind in review work.

The interview went well. One of the interviewers was a reviewer of my work here years ago (I have been in this contract position 10 years) and seemed pleased I was applying for a permanant position.
I make changes and updates to Nautical Charts used by commercial shippers. I also review the work of other contractors.
