I went to my first ever NFL game Monday. My Titans won, and Hank Jr. was there. And they honored George, Wycheck and McNair at halftime. It was awesome.

That is awesome. Definetly different then watching it on tv eh?. Went to the Jets home opener against the Pats. Definetly an experience I will never forget

Definitely....i'm only 4 hours from Atlanta but going to see the Falcons will probably be a letdown at this point. LOL.

Colts pulled off a win after I went to bed. As much as I like Tony Dungy, I was thinking if they lost to New England, we would probably have to stick a fork in the Colts.

We're almost at that point with the Cowboys. In fact, the morning meteorologist in my area (an avid Redskins fan) actually said he was pulling for Dallas because he felt sorry for them. Time to get a new backup QB, as Brad Johnson probably should have retired by now.

The Cowboys of the last three years are possibly the biggest underachievers the NFL has seen since the Oilers of the early 1990s.

Anyone wondering if the Cardinals are for real? The Titans? Atlanta?

Go Steelers, and please keep Big Ben from getting a mouthful of grass tonight.

Chris Horton, Safety, Washington Redskin rookie, 7th round 249th overall.

There's got to be some Scouts getting questioned on him.

Pittsburgh won, don't know how serious Big Ben's injury is, though.

Having said that, Byron Leftwich looked great in the 2nd half and should definitely be starting somewhere. The only downside with Leftwich is that he has virtually NO mobility, which helps explain why he got hurt so much in Jacksonville.

The Steelers defense against Washington had me reminiscing about the days of the Steel curtain. The way they shut down Campbell and Portis was a joy to behold. LeBeau has really got them hummimg on all cylinders.

Go Steelers!!!

Quins first start as the Browns QB was pretty good. In what I saw I thought he looked good but didn't see the whole game though. To bad Denver had to come back though.

Lions are still 0-9.

Steelers let their game vs. Indy get away, and this time, they can't blame the protection.

Cardinals hung on last night vs. San Fran.

Tennessee's still unbeaten.

What's happening to Buffalo? I thought they were supposed to be an up-an-coming team (see Cleveland).

My wife loved the Colt-Steelers game! The Colts are her team but I think she is secretly in love with Peyton Manning!

Good thing we didn't watch the game or there might have been an incident that would require marriage counseling!

I knew that in my gut the Colts would win!

I guess the question with Tennessee is are they this year's Patriots? Win every game, except the one that really matters?

Miami keeps surprising me as well as Seattle. I really didn't think they would be doing this badly! Seattle, that is! Miami is surprising me about how good they are doing compared to expectations.

That was unbelievable! I'm glad that the Jets won because I'm a Favre fan, but in my picks, I went with the Pats. I still think it was won by the cointoss.

Well the Cowboys get Romo back on the field today.
Let's hope his little hands can hold to the ball.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's a good, not great QB, but we need more than he has to offer.

Beat the Redskins!!!!!!!!!

I think Romo's return really recharged the team. They look more energized than they have in weeks. Even the defense seemed like they had more desire than in the weeks he was out! I was looking for a different outcome but it still was a good game!

The Bills kicker is having his team mates give him a few after that missed field goal. I think they wasted three downs running the ball and could've gained more yardage for his attempt by throwing a few short side outs. That attempt could've been made from 10 -15 yards closer.

When I first saw the kick I thought one of the lineman got a piece of the ball but on the replay I realized it was all the kicker's fault on that one!

The Cowboys played for sheer survival.
Time to move on and keep it up or else they're history.

Niners won!!! Even if it was against the rams it was a good old fashion first half spanking. I hope this win wasn't fools gold like the way JTO and the niners played against the Lions. Our schedule is one of the hardest in the league. We will see what we are made of in the next three weeks with Dallas, Buffalo and the Jets. If we can play competitive like we did with the cardinals I will be crushed but proud of my team. BTW, congrats to Shaun Hill for being the NFC offensive player of the week! Way to go Shaun Hill...your first half performance was reminiscent of the olden days with Steve Young :).

I'm hoping my Steelers use the everglow Bengals to get their offensive confidence back tomorrow. May their uniforms turn a green and brown from getting dipped in Heinz sauce (aka Heinz field turf)! With a last name like Fitzpatrick he should be wearing green anyway in tribute to the mother country!

Ocho Cinco won't be playing tonight. I see he was deactivated.

Also, apparently the NFL has decided to reinstate Pacman Jones...again!

What's this guy got on the commish? Compromising photos? That guy should be gone for the amount of chances given to him.

On a happier note the Steelers brought down the Steel Curtain again last night on the day-glow Bengals.

Some interesting stats/trivia:

"Ben Roethlisberger won the 47th game of his five-year career, passing John Elway for the most through a quarterback's first five seasons. He is now just one win behind Otto Graham, Dan Marino and Tom Brady for the most since 1950 (Graham's fifth season).

» The Steelers won their fifth straight game against the Bengals.

» The Steelers defense held the Bengals to 208 total yards, 30 less than their league-leading 238.1 yards per game.

» In two games, Pittsburgh has beaten Cincinnati by a combined score of 65-20." Link

Looks like the Steelers got these glow in the dark guys associated with tackling dummies!

They need to severely reconfigure this team if Cincy want to be competitive. A new uniform would be in order too! Unless they perform their passing drills in the dark to save money on lighting the stadium.

In other news...

The Titans have suffered their first loss.

Donovan McNabb got pulled Sunday.

The Giants won, which should give them the inside track for home-field advantage in the NFC.

Detroit...still waiting for a "W"

With the season slowly dwindling down, I'll just put out some predictions for the off-season:

Romeo Crennel will get fired from Cleveland.

Ron Marinelli will get fired from Detroit.

Marvin Lewis will get fired from Cincinnati.

I expect that Cleveland and Detroit both will try to lure Marty Schottenheimer or Bill Cowher as their head coach. I suspect that Cowher will land in Cleveland, and I can see Schottenheimer landing in either San Francisco or St. Louis.

Being in the Seattle area, I have a funny feeling that Jim Mora, Jr. will walk from the Seahawks and take a college job elsewhere. I believe that the 2-9 record that they've posted will make the GM look for an outsider coach to replace Mike Holmgren. I wouldn't rule out Jim Haslett (who was considered before Holmgren was hired) as a potential candidate here.

I think NE QB Matt Cassel will land in either Detroit or San Francisco, and I wouldn't completely rule out Dallas sniffing at him either. I think Houston will go with Sage Rosenfels as a starting QB next year and either trade or release Matt Schaub. If that's the case, I can see Schaub perhaps making his way to Seattle.

I think Cincy will land some assistant as a head coach (couldn't say who).

And, of course, who knows who the Raiders will hire??
